FINEST is Spain's independent ranking of high-end restaurants — a live score for every table that matters.
What FINEST is
FINEST is the ranking, magazine and private club of Spain's high gastronomy. Each week it publishes a record of the tables that set the reference — a composite score calculated from professional critic assessments, verified public ratings, and Club FINEST member scores.
Scores are recalculated weekly and published every Monday at 09:00 CET. Score movements, movers, and market analysis appear in the Weekly Report.
Our mission
Spain has some of the world's most compelling restaurants. But the information layer around them — guides, stars, lists — is fragmented, opaque, and slow to update. FINEST is a real-time alternative: transparent, traceable, and independent.
We don't believe in black-box rankings. Every score is a formula you can read and interrogate on our methodology page.
Independence
FINEST is financially and editorially independent. No restaurant, PR agency, or advertiser influences our rankings. We pay for our own visits. Our critics are anonymous.
FINEST is founded and edited by Manuel Jimenez. The Masthead lists all contributors and their roles.
